Effective from 1st January 2017

Please read these Website General Terms of Use (“General Terms”) carefully before using this website (the “Site”) and its services (the “Services”). You will be able to access some areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website are only open to you if you register. Using any part of the Site and Services indicates that you accept these General Terms in full. If you do not accept this legal notice in full, you must leave this Website immediately.

You acknowledge that the Internet or Talent Chamber’s systems, services and equipment may from time to time be inoperative in full or in part as a consequence of but not limited to, mechanical breakdown, maintenance, hardware or software upgrades, any communication connectivity problems or other facts beyond the control of Talent Chamber. You also acknowledge that Talent Chamber will not be held liable for any failure or inability to provide continuous, error free, uninterrupted services under these or any other circumstances.

If we change these General Terms, we will post the revised document here with an updated effective date. If we make significant changes to these General Terms, we may also notify you by other means such as sending an email or posting a notice on our home page.

1. Membership Condition

The Website services are not available to, and may not be used by, persons under the age of 16 years of age, or who are temporarily or indefinitely suspended Website members. If you are under 16 years old, you can use this service only in conjunction with the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you are business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.

2. Registration

You must choose a password on completion of registration. You shall be responsible for all actions taken under that password and shall only access the Website using your own password. You should not disclose your password to any other person.

4.3. If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party.
4.4. We reserve the right to restrict or deny you access to all or some parts of the Site and Services if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with these General Terms.

5. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

5.1. We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site and the material published on it.  Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.  All such rights are reserved.

5.2.2. no graphics are used separately from accompanying text;

5.2.3. no copyright and trade mark notices are removed.

6.4 We will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone submitting material in breach of clause 6.2.

6.6 We accept no responsibility or liability for the use by any agency, employer or other third party of any CV about you forwarded to any agency, employer (whether by us or you) or to any third party which comes to your attention directly or indirectly through your use of this Website.

7.2 We hold a data protection registration and comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.

8.1 We are not liable or responsible for the third party content on the Site and in the Services. Third party content includes, for example, material posted by other users of the Site and Services, job vacancy advertisements and display advertising.
8.2 Where the Site and Services contain links to other sites and resources which are provided by third parties, these links and resources are provided for your information only and you access them at your own risk. We are not liable or responsible for the content of third party sites or resources.

9.1 This Website contains copyright material, trade names and other proprietary information, including but not limited to, design, text, software and graphics. Talent Chamber, or its licensors, own copyright and/or database rights in the selection, coordination, arrangement and enhancement of such content, as well as in the content original to it. 9.2 You may download information from this Website for your own personal use only.
